Throbbing Gristle’s throbbing Gristleisms

These little puppies are custom modded Gristleisms I’ve recently finished building for Throbbing Gristle, one for each member of the band. They have LFO pitch modulation, auto loop advance and audio out jacks. They’ll be using them at an upcoming performance later this year (details TBC). More pictures on my Flickr page.

    Hi Stu

I built the gristleism mod, and it works fine, although took ages to tweak before it stopped crashing. I was wondering though, the blue led I fitted, doesn’t flash as per the modulation, it just dims or gets brighter, where have I gone wrong? I’m an artist and work with Artlink Edinburgh, I work with severely disabled people and make soundscapes with them to form communication between our different sensory worlds..here’s a link if interested. I’ve built a gristleiser and we’ve been using that together with various FM3 machines and a kaossilator

All best, and thanks for putting up that mod, the instructions are excellent.
